The beginnings

Our first semester as official Formula Student Team Racing Power Münster is coming to an end. Now seems like the right time to look back on the past few months and the exciting start as a club.

In the winter of 2022, our founders Isabelle and Daniel decided: If we can’t join a Formula Student team in Münster, we’ll just found one ourselves! No sooner said than done. They quickly found other students who shared their passion for formula racing and wanted to work together to build a competitive vehicle to compete in international competitions against other university teams in Formula Student Sports.

The team

The initially still very rough group division soon developed into a structured club system in which each member had found his area. However, to strengthen the team spirit and coordinate all topics and tasks, all areas met – and still meet regularly – together twice a month.

Away from the organizational and technical meetings, however, we formed not just a club, but a team that had bonded together: we visited rollouts of other teams, organized Formula 1 viewings, and spent evenings at the Aasee in the Münster manner.

We – and hopefully you as well – can only be excited about what lies ahead and with what joy and passion we will face it!
