VDI Racing Camp 2023
Over two exciting days, we immersed ourselves in the world of the VDI Racing Camp, which took place at the LaSiSe in Selm. Our aim was to expand our knowledge, be inspired by the active teams and gain valuable expertise for our own future projects. Through the open exchange and discussions with the participants, we were able to gain deep insights. This knowledge was of great value to us as it enabled us to refine our own concepts and designs. A special highlight of the event was the visit of Alexander Bloch, a chief reporter from Auto motor und sport, who not only graced the camp with his presence, but also took the opportunity to drive one of the student vehicles around the LaSiSe track himself. His impressions and feedback on the vehicle provided all those present with valuable insights from the perspective of an experienced automotive journalist.
The camp ended with a special moment of community: a group photo with all the teams. This moment, captured for eternity, symbolized the solidarity and spirit of cooperation that characterizes the VDI Racing Camp. Our visit to the VDI Racing Camp at LaSiSe was an enriching experience that not only provided us with valuable insights and ideas for our future projects, but also underlined the importance of community and mutual support in Formula Student. We returned inspired, motivated and with new friendships under our belts, ready to incorporate what we learned into our projects.
